Horse swap

Two years ago we traded our paint mare, Maddie, for 2 Belgian-Haflinger horses.  Daisy, the filly of the 2 was struck by lightning last year and died :(  Rudy, her half-brother, was on the schedule to start training soon.  But his old owner stopped to ask if we would trade Rudy for a horse already trained by the Amish.   Hmmmmmm.  Yep.

Here is Rudy "parked" in the drive.  No, he wasn't really parked.  Brett was on the other end of that lead rope getting his phone out of his van.

 

Anyway, Rudy went back to his old home yesterday.  I'll show you his "replacement" tomorrow.

Itty Bitty Kitty Ears

Look at the ears on this little one.  Squeeeeeeee.  I love those itty bitty ears.

Momma cat moved her 3 kittens to this dog bed laying on the patio.  They are about a week old. My girls are in heaven. 

If you look closely you can see an itty bitty belly button. 

Round and round

I ended up buying a "flower foot" for my sewing machine.  I've not quite figured out how to do all of the designs shown in the other photo but I do like what I've done so far. 

I would have taken my pictures but Brett snagged my camera to take photos of hooves.  How many of you can say that?!?!  LOL

I bought the foot through ebay.  The auction says it's for a Kenmore but it should fit any short-shank machine.  I'm using it on my Brother.

I've only stitched on wool felt.  Anything lighter should be backed with stabilizer.
