As I mentioned yesterday, I spent a good part of the weekend sorting and cleaning. When I moved here after Brett and I were married he had been living here for about 12 years and Gram about 70 years. The house was crammed full and we didn't really take the time back then to look at what we really had. It all was packed in boxes and put in the store room. I'm glad we didn't look at much then as I'm afraid we would have disposed of a lot of it.
I've been looking through a box or 2 at a time. It's like a treasure hunt in my own house!! Sunday I found the needlecases pictured. The booklet is an advertisement for Adlerika for Gas and Constipation LOL The needle threader is gone, but there are several needles still in the package.
There are several sewing machine needles in the other case, but most are broken. The case is wood with a screw-on lid. I'm not sure it's really a needle case. There is only little bits of a label remaining.
Later this week I will post about the things I found in the drawers of Gram's old sewing machine. Fun stuff!
